Who We Are

Q. Who is Hospital Florist & Gifts
A. Hospital Florist & Gifts is a Sydney based company which provides twice-daily flower and gift deliveries to all Sydney hospitals. We hope to connect patients and loved ones by providing a fine range of gifts and flowers. We also provide a special delivery service to hospital staff. Our product range has been designed to address all reasons for hospital stays - from the birth of a new baby to being treated for an illness and for cancer patients too.

Q. Are you located in the hospital?
A. No, we are not affiliated with any Sydney hospital. We do provide a premium range of flowers and gifts to be delivered to all Sydney hospitals every day.

Q. Where do you deliver?

A. We deliver to all hospitals in the Sydney Metro area. We can also deliver the flowers and gifts found on our website to homes and businesses Sydney-wide.

 

Patient Information Questions

Q. Do I need to know the ward or room number of the patient?
A.
 No, but it is helpful. Before each delivery, we verify the patient's room number with the hospital.

Q. What happens if a patient is discharged? 
A.
 Sometimes patients go home sooner than expected. If this happens, we will contact you to arrange redelivery to their home free of charge (provided the new address is within the Sydney metropolitan area). 

Q. What happens if the patient is in ICU?

A. Some hospitals have strict protocol about what they will receive into ICU. Your order will be placed on hold until the patient is transferred to a ward where they can receive their flowers and/or gifts.

 

Delivery Questions

Q. When is your cut-off time for same-day delivery?

A. Our cut-off time for same-day delivery Monday through Saturaday is 1pm. Orders placed after 1pm may still be delivered on the same-day but this would incur an extra charge. Please call to arrange late orders. Deliveries for orders places after 1pm are subject to courier availablity. 

Q. What time will my order be delivered?

A. Due to the nature of the hospital enviroment, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. Your order will be delivered in normal business hours.

Q. Do you deliver on Saturdays?

A. Yes, please order by 1pm for same-day deliveries on Saturday.

Q. Do you deliver on Sundays?

A. No, but if you place your order online on Sunday we will deliver it for you the next day (Monday).

 

Product and Ordering Questions

Q. Do you deliver latex balloons?

A. Due to the possibility of allergy, some hospitals don't allow latex balloons. We only deliver foil plain or printed balloons to hospitals. They last much longer than latex balloons too.
